Clinical Effect of Insamdex

Abstract
|
|
|
Insamdex, a mixture of Insam extract and Intacellin, extract of human placenta, was given 2 ml. intra-musculary daily fof 7-20 days to 35 neurological cases.
It was effective in cases of neurosis, climacterium, injury of head and spines, headache and insomnia with treatment of over 7 days, while the effect was not evident in cases of cerebro-vascular accident, epilepsy, myelitis, and degenerative diseases with a few days´ treatment. The latter diseases, therefore, are worth-while to be treated longer to see the effect of this drug.
